Annie Auerbach is the author of more than 100 books for children, including the New York Times best-seller
Bob's Egg Hunt.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and says it's been a wild ride from a background in theater and film to a career in publishing. But that unique background has proven to be invaluable in creating imaginative and unusual plots for original books based on popular characters from
SpongeBob SquarePants,
The Incredibles,
Jimmy Neutron,
Shrek the Third
,
Bob the Builder,
and many more.
In addition, she is the author of many non-licensed books, including
Eight Chanukah Lights and
Cindy Big Hair.
Her new chapter book series
The Grosse Adventures starts off with a bang in
Book #1: The Good, the Bad & the Gassy, ends up in outer space with
Book #2: Stinky and Stan Blast Off!, and takes a hike in
Book #3: Trouble at Twilight Cave!
Although she currently lives in Oregon with her husband and son, Annie loves to travel and have adventures as exciting as the characters she writes about.
